What is The Taste?
One blind spoonful could change everything on ABC's all-new alternative series, "The Taste," an exhilarating one-hour cooking competition that puts 16 culinary competitors - from pro chefs to home cooks -- to the fire with four of the world's most notable masters of the food world who will judge their creations based on a blind taste test.
My review: I love the taste! The fact that it could be anyone from a regular person like you or me, to a top pro chef like Wolfgang Puck is really cool and creates for interesting and different meals. I think the judges are a little too critical at times, but it is probably all in fun. I love how they only have an hour to create the dish, as it puts on more pressure and it shows how they handle themselves under stress. I wish there was a website that gave out some of the recipes cooked that night because it would be cool if normal people could make world renowned meals for their family at home. The amount of bad-language is a little bit strong if you are going to watch this with children.
